The market was in the bear region this week as the NSE All-Share Index and Market Capitalization depreciated by
4.59% to close the week at 29,616.38 and N11.124 trillion respectively. All market indices declined and the biggest
decliner is the Consumer Goods index which declined by 7.73% owing to sell offs on Nigerian Breweries
A total turnover of 3.544 billion shares worth N20.264 billion in 19,130 deals were traded this week by investors on
the floor of the Exchange in contrast to a total of 2.629 billion shares valued at N12.794 billion that exchanged

We expect bargain hunting and buying interests to become quite visible this week, as stocks with huge dividend
potential are underpriced and qualification date gets nearer.
